A live puppet show featuring three popular ventriloquists in the country is set to thrill audience this November 15-16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Huseng Batute (CCP Studio Theater). Ony Carcamo, Wanlu and Ruther Urquia join forces in presenting Venthrilla in Manila, a show combining fun and educational, ventriloquism segments using famous Manila landmarks as backdrops.

Ony Carcamo and his wooden boy pal Kulas talk about the adventures and misadventures of youngsters studying in Manila. Ony, an award-winning poet and author, has performed in schools, comedy bars, corporate venues, and theaters, including the CCP Main Theater.

Wanlu and his naughty Nicolo relive the old Escolta and Quiapo, once the business capital of the country. Wanlu gained popularity when he became a hall of famer at TV5’s popular talent show Talentadong Pinoy. He has also represented the country in international puppetry festivals

Ruther and Lolo Teddy bring back the memories of how Luneta and Intramuros made indelible marks in our history. A finalist during the first season of ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent, Ruther is also a former youth pastor, a seasoned magician and a church speaker.
