The Philippine Madrigal Singers with choirmaster Mark Anthony Carpio celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Cultural Center of the Philippines via the concert Tahanan Naming Tahanan on June 29-30, 2019 at the CCP's Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater).
A couple of CCP's resident companies join the Madz at this concert namely the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group and The Bayanihan, the National Folk Dance Company of the Philippines. Also joining are the Mini-Madz, the Schola Cantorum, the Male Ensemble Nine (MEN), the Musika Filipina, the UP Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Paolo Panagsagan and contemporary dancer Al Bernard Garcia.
The CCP has served as the home to numerous artists and cultural practitioners for the past five decades. The Philippine Madrigal Singers is one of the nine resident companies of the CCP.
