Manila Pianos Artist Series presents pianist Ella Gabrielle Gaw in an online recital premiering on January 15, 2022, 7:30 PM.
Currently a student of Prof. Anthony Yu Say, Ella had her start with the piano at age 4 1/2. Since then, she has made strides by winning the Gold Prize in the Seattle Piano Competition, 2021, Silver Prize in the 2nd Bangkok International Piano Competition, 2021, 2nd prize in the Clara Schumann International Piano Competition 2021, and 3rd prize PTGP Piano Competition 2019.
Her recital will consist of Johann Sebastian Bach's 15 Two-Part Inventions, BWV 772-786, Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 20 in G Major, Op. 49 No. 2, and excerpts from Augusto Espino's Guhit-Tugtugin.
