Czech soprano Noema Erba returns to Manila

Rising Czech soprano Noema Erba returns to Manila for another night of music as the in a concert, entitled Night in the Opera happens this October 20, 2013, 7:00 PM at the Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani Manila. This event, presented by the Czech Embassy in Manila, Travelife Magazine and Dusit Thani Manila, is part of Bohemian Rhapsody, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Czech-Philippine diplomatic relations.

Noema’s first performance in the country was back in March 2012 in a well received concert entitled The Jewels of European Opera which was the Czech Embassy’s major cultural event for that year. This year’s concert will also feature her previous collaborators: pianist Prof. Augusto Espino and tenor Conrado “Dondi” Ong III. New for this year is guest baritone Marvin Gayramon.

A magna cum laude graduate with a Bachelor and Masters degree with specialization in Opera Voice studies from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Noema’s achievements include winning the second prize in E. Destinnova’s International Vocal Competition in 2006 (Czech and Slovak Music) in London. She was also a finalist in 2007’s Hariclea Darclées International Vocal Competition in Romania.

Night in the Opera featuring soprano Noema Erba is presented by the Czech Embassy in Manila, Dusit Thani Manila and Travelife Magazine in line with Bohemian Rhapsody, the series of events in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of the Philippines.
