Jed Balsamo's new work debuts in London

The London Piano Trio composed of violinist Robert Atchison, pianist Olga Dudnik, and cellist David Jones along with renowned friends, violist Bill Hawkes and double bassist Christopher Laurence returns to St. John's Smith Square for a concert happening on July 6, 2013, 7:30 PM.

This upcoming performance featured the world premiere of Jed Balsamo’s Piano Trio No. 2, commissioned for the London Piano Trio by the Inter-Cultural Society of London. This is the first time ever that a work by a Filipino classical composer will be premiered in London. This piece is described as very innovative, accessible and pleasing to the ear. The concert will also include two very well known pieces: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Quartert No. 1 in G minor, K.478 and Franz Schubert’s Piano Quintet in A, D.667 known as Trout.
