A post-valentine online recital by world renowned pianist Cecile Licad is all set this February 22, 2022, 5:00 PM streaming through Zoom.
Presented by Megaworld and Rustan's for the benefit of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra Society, Inc. (PPOSI), the event, dubbed as Amore: A Post-Valentine Hour with Cecile Licad in New York, will feature performances by Licad interwoven with an interview by David Dubal filmed at the Lotos Club in New York.
Licad will perform piano favorites that include Frédéric Chopin's Étude Op. 10, No. 3, in E Major "Tristesse", Scherzo No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 31, and Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23; Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 2 Quasi una fantasia more popularly known as the Moonlight Sonata; Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in G minor, Op. 23, No. 5, Prelude in E-flat Major, Op. 23, No. 6, and Prelude in A minor, Op. 32, No. 8, and Francisco Buencamino Hibik ng Diwa (Soul’s Lament).
