The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra brings The Magical
Music of Disney at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang
Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater) this September 28, 2013 at 3:00 and 8:00
PM. Led by Gerard Salonga, the orchestra will perform various symphonic suites
from Disney animated films ranging from early classics to recent releases including
The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Tarzan and others.
The Magical Music of Disney is a
concert for the whole family. Audiences are invited to enjoy a unique
experience in which timeless animated images are synchronized with music to
transport them to their favorite Disney musical moment. This event will be
hosted by Nikki Gil who appeared at the orchestra’s first run of The Magic of John Williams concert. There will be two performances for this concert: a 3:00 PM Matinee Show and an 8:00 PM Gala Show.

presented by ABS-CBN and First Philippine Holdings Corporation. The Disney Concert Library has been licensing music directly to orchestra organizations
worldwide since 1992.
