MCO Foundation Young Artists Series 2013 continues with tenor Ivan Nery

The Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation continues its Young Artists Series 2013 with tenor Ivan Niccolo Nery in concert on September 18, 2013, 7:00 PM at the Ayala Museum.

Tenor Ivan Niccolo Nery

Ivan, a student of soprano Camille Lopez-Molina and tenor Pablo Molina, won the Grand Prize at the Jovita Fuentes Vocal Competition in 2012. He was also nominated for an Aliw Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Crisostomo Ibarra in Dulaang UP’s Noli Me Tangere: The Opera. He has also portrayed Remendando and was understudy for Don Jose in Lyric Opera of the Philippines’ production of Carmen and was also part of the ensemble and understudy for Pinkerton in MusicArtes, Inc.'s production of Madame Butterfly.

Accompanied by pianist Najib Ismail, Ivan will be performing songs by Paolo Tosti, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss, Giuseppe Torelli, Giacomo Puccini and Gabriel Fauré.
