In celebration of National Arts Month, the Cultural Center of the Philippines and St. Scholastica's College School of Music present the Kabataang Gitarista in a free concert happening on February 18, 2023, 3:00 PM at the Corazon Aquino Hall, St. Scholastica's College, Manila.
The guitar ensemble group will perform an all-Filipino program consisting of folk and other songs arranged by Monching Carpio.
The performance is for free and open to the public.
Kabataang Gitarista is a program by the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Artist Training Division that aims to promote appreciation for, and interest in classical guitar performance among public high school students. The program provides the highest level of guitar training to public high school students from Manila, Pasay, and Parañaque free of charge through a scholarship program.
