September 29, 2012 , 7:30 PM at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium,
the De La Salle University Chorale will be celebrating its 25th Silver
Anniversary through a concert titled Chapter
25: The Legacy.
Established
in August 1987, the De La Salle University Chorale has been performing in local
events and competing in international competitions for twenty-five years. They
garnered numerous awards from several competitions abroad, headed by choral
conductor Professor Rodolfo Delarmente.
Continuing
the legacy that the chorale has established throughout its twenty-five years of
existence, Chapter 25: The Legacy will
feature exquisite songs from different genres in choral music, world-renowned
choral conductor Rodolfo Delarmente, and the premier award-winning choral
group, De La Salle University Chorale.
Catch
the chorale in action with songs from the Romantic and Baroque periods,
Madrigal styles from the Renaissance Era, traditional folk and ethnic music,
and Classical Pop music.
Chapter 25: The Legacy will also
mark the beginning of DLSU Chorale’s momentous year, as it is the first of
several events to be held in special celebration of its 25th Anniversary.
It will be followed by the events Solista
Per Una Notte and Harana.
