Jason Fernandez starts solo career with Panimula

Jason Fernandez, former Rivermaya frontman, is starting anew as a solo artist via the release of his album entitled Panimula under Ivory Music & Video. Boasting of six tracks along with one bonus track (for a total of seven), Jason moves forward and is now backed up by his band Sta. Maria.

I admit that I wasn’t able to take note of Jason’s stint as the vocalist of the third generation of Rivermaya. His new album, made up of seven tracks including a bonus one, still shows the strong influence of Rivermaya. He moves forward though by having this album filled with his original compositions including a collaboration with Yeng Constantino, co-writing the track Panaginip. The lead single for this album, Maria is currently enjoying some radio airplay and a music video for it has also been released.
