Internationally renowned tenor Arthur Espiritu opens the fourth season of Sunshine Classics concert series with Schubert in Sunshine, happening on March 22, 2023, 6:00 PM, Sunshine Place Recreation Center Roof Deck located at 56 Jupiter Street, Makati.
Along with collaborating pianist Mariel Ilusorio, Arthur will perform Franz Schubert's song cycle Die schöne Müllerin, Op. 25, D. 795.
The rest of the Sunshine Classics 2023 concert series include Young Stars Shine happening on May 21, 2023 with kids age 9-13 namely marimba player Gio dela Cruz, pianist Aninaw Velasco, violinist Teddy Tan, and vocalist/pianist Onyx Daquila taking on the spotlight.
On July 12, 2023, Tomorrow's Musical Leaders features violinist Adrian Nicolas Ong and pianist Jet Chong, two of the country's most promising young musicians.
An all Filipino program is in store courtesy of violinist Gina Medina-Perez and pianist Mary Anne Espina in 100% Filipino on September 23, 2023.
The season caps on November 18, 2023 with The Best of Chamber Music as violinist Noel Martin and pianist Mariel Ilusorio welcome other musician friends in performing trios, quartets, and a piano quintet.
Subscription package for all concerts is priced at P1600 and P1300 for seniors. Tickets for Schubert in Sunshine, 100% Filipino, and The Best of Chamber Music are priced each at P450 with P350 discounted price for seniors. Young Stars Shine and Tomorrow's Musical Leaders tickets are for P350 and P250 for seniors per each performance.
