Featuring:
Eric Legnini Trio

Franck Agulhon, drums
Thomas Bramerie, bass
It’s jazz time once again as the Alliance Française de Manille and The Embassy of France to the Philippines together with the Ayala Museum present the Eric Legnini Trio. The trio made up of pianist Eric Legnini, drummer Franck Agulhon and bassist Thomas Bramerie will have a concert at the Ayala Museum on June 16, 2011 at 8:00 PM in line with the release of their new album Trippin'. And as expected, this concert has free admission on a first come-first served basis.
This concert is yet another FrancoPhil event catered to music lovers especially of the jazz genre. I was able to listen to some of their tracks as it was played nonstop during cocktails at the opening of the French Film Festival. As always, listening is one thing but seeing a live performance easily beats it especially with jazz where improvisation is a highlight. I’ve already seen a couple of jazz performances at the Ayala Museum this year with Aya Korem and Adam Ben Amitai and the Colina Serrano Quartet concert so being able to see a third one by another group should pose no problem for me.
Tickets:
Free admission. First-come, first-served basis
